We have decided to cancel the Boonesboro Boogie this week. The reason is that last time we rode soon after a flood, several people got sick. There are 2 possible causes for this. 1. Dust from the silt deposited on the road during the flood, and 2. People burning trash and wood that was moved around as a result of the flood. Halls should be back open on Wednesday, and we will ride there next week.
This week several of us will be riding from the Horsepark instead. It is a little more hilly, but only slightly longer. There is decent BBQ nearby for those that want to eat.
