Overall Difficulty:
If you are in town for the Horsey Hundred, there is no better way to get
ready for it than to get some extra miles on these beautiful routes.
Living in the Bluegrass, we are blessed to be surrounded with beautiful
roads. Therefore, any route you choose, will not be seen during the Horsey
Hundred weekend. These routes will have a few rollers and short punchy
hills that will get your attention and quite possibly out of your saddle.
No matter how easy or difficult you may find the route, there will be a
cold beverage waiting.
This is an 'All Comers' ride so everyone is invited to ride but you are
responsible for your own repairs and getting back. However, with all club
rides that we do here, each individual group will be regrouping at the top
of the hills and intersections. Just be sure to find the appropriate group
to ride with.
Details:
In the spirit of the Horsey Hundred Weekend, we thought that we would ride
around Country Boy Brewing to warm-up the legs for the weekend. Country
Boy Brewing is one of our Proud Bluegrass Bike Partners and was the host
for the Horsey Hundred Kickoff Party.
We designed these routes for our out of town guests staying in the local
area a chance to get themselves checked in, do a short ride and meet the
locals while enjoying a beverage at Country Boy Brewing. Because of the
great turnout in years past and the excitement it brought, it is now the
Official Horsey Hundred Kickoff Ride!!
Country Boy Brewing will be providing the post ride entertainment and with
their newly established kitchen that is, shall we say, AWESOME, there will
be plenty of reasons to stick around and enjoy yourself. So whether it
rains or shine, we hope to see everyone at Country Boy to ride some
beautiful roads and if it rains, well, we will have more time to meet new
friends from all over. Can't wait to see you!!!
