Join us on the Virginia Creeper Trail for a scenic, laidback day of beautiful views and history. We'll meet at
8 a.m. in Damascus where you will have choices to make. Options are:
1) shuttle to the top and ride the 18 mile downhill back to Damascus
2) ride up to White Top Station and back to Damascus for 36 miles
3) shuttle to the top, ride the full trail to Abingdon and then back to Damascus for 54 miles.
There are numerous camping opportunities in the area as well as cabins and national chain hotels (Abingdon). PM ride leader if you have questions. Tires wider than typical road tires are recommended for this ride. Gravel bikes, mountain bikes, CX bikes are your most comfortable choices.
